Veteran finance executive Thomas Cronan III is the new chief financial officer at (Nasdaq: HSTX).
Cronan most recently was CFO at AeroScout. He also has been CFO at Redback Networks, which is now part of Ericsson.
"Tom has a long track record of success, and has played a critical role in the strategic financial management and turnaround for both private and publicly-traded companies in the high-tech industry,” said Harris Stratex Chief Executive Officer Harald Braun. “His deep financial experience and legal background will be instrumental in establishing opportunistic strategic relationships and driving revenue growth through innovation, operational effectiveness, mergers and acquisitions, and productivity.”
Cronan, a former counsel at IBM, earned his law degree at Fordham University.
Harris Stratex provides network services for mobile and broadband networks.
Harris, the parent company of Harris Stratex, recently disclosed plans to sell its holdings and make Harris Stratex an independent company. Harris owns 56 percent of Harris Stratex.
