The North Carolina Symphony is reaching out to its fans and a global audience that recently was added to its Web site.

"The new blog feature is a hit with our patrons who wish to learn more about our music and gain an inside perspective on the arts community,” said Symphony Director of Communications Jeannie Mellinger.

The blog is the latest feature added to the site by , a Raleigh-based Web site design and integrated marketing firm.

The Symphony also offers podcast interviews, educational resources, online CD and donation stores, a ticket ordering link and a portal for season ticket holders.
