, a provider of contract manufacturing services and armed with a number of robotic devices, is planning to double the size of its staff.

Shipman recently relocated its manufacturing facility to Presidential Park in Durham. The structure covers 20,000 square feet.

At 25 employees now, the company said it would double headcount “in the next few years.”

Shipman provides a variety of services, including robotic assembly, and works with customers from product concept to delivery.
