Don Holzworth, the founder of consulting firm Constella Group, is joining , as executive in residence.

Holzworth sold Constella Group to SRA International in 2007 for $185 million. He currently is chair of Futures Group International.

Holzworth will advise faculty and students about strategic planning and various health-related projects. He also will work with projects that are funded by Carolina Public Health Solutions, which oversees the $50 million that Dennis and Joan Gillings donated to the UNC school.

Dennis Gillings is founder and chairman of Quintiles Transnational, a global contract research organization that provides various services to pharmaceutical, medical device and life science firms.

Holzworth also is an adjunct professor of health policy and management at UNC-CH.
