The North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA) announced Tuesday the launch of an interactive job board on its new Web site.
With a focus on technology companies, the board offers NCTA members and the industry at large an easy-to-use and highly targeted resource for online employment connections, the organization said. is part of the organization’s recent Web site makeover.
The job board is intended to benefit individuals specifically looking for technology jobs as well as traditional positions within technology companies.
Both members and non-members can use the board to reach qualified candidates. Employers can post jobs online, search for qualified candidates based on specific job criteria, and create an online resume agent to receive daily e-mails on qualified candidates. They also benefit from online reporting that provides job activity statistics.
For job-seekers, the board provides access to employers and jobs in the technology industry.
In addition to posting their resumes, job-seekers can browse and view available jobs based on their search criteria and save jobs for later review. Job-seekers can also create a search agent to provide e-ail notifications of jobs that match their criteria.
“We’re very pleased to offer this job board to technology professionals, as we know how critical it is for employers in the industry to attract first-rate talent with a minimum expenditure of time and resources,” said Brooks Raiford, NCTA president and CEO. “NCTA’s Job Board provides an interactive means of connecting job seekers with potential employers and we encourage both parties to utilize this new resource as a first stop in their search for employment or personnel.”
NCTA developed the board in partnership with Boxwood Technology, Inc.
