PARIS – , one of the largest internet conferences in Europe, kicked off today in downtown Paris. The engagement opened with remarks by the creators of the conference (Geraldine and Loic Le Meur) and highlighted a few keynote speakers.

Of those headlining the conference, Dan’l Lewin (Corporate VP for Strategic and Emerging Business Development, Microsoft Corporation) and Nikesh Arora (SVP, Google) presented great ideas on how information is being gathered and transformed as technology advances and progresses.

For the second half of the day, a select amount of startups have been chosen to present in front of investors, entrepreneurs, and the media on the main stage of the exhibition. In year’s past, this has been a great way for budding entrepreneurs to broadcast their ideas and expose their products and services to over 1,800 participants from over 40 countries.
