Theresa Ulyaat, a former recruiting executive at Wachovia Corporation, is joining NouvEON as its director of talent management and people care.

is a business and technology consulting firm servicing Fortune 1000 companies across the southeast.

Ulyaat begins her new role on Nov. 20.

At Wachovia for the past two years, Ulyatt was vice president for information technology and human resources recruiting, leading a staff of 40 people. At NouvEON, she will be responsible for development of the firm’s people care practice.

Ulyatt, who earned a psychology degree at Russell Sage College, has more than 18 years of experience in human resources and capital, including sourcing, acquisition and retention. She founded two executive search firms before joining Wachovia.

NouvEON, which launched in 2003, has an office in Raleigh.
