will release the soundtrack to its “gears of War 2” videogame through on Nov. 25.
The Gears sequel goes on sale Nov. 7, and advance reservations have already topped those for the 2006 original, which has sold more than 5 million copies since its release.
Epic also has sold movie rights for a gears movie. A book and a graphic novel also have been published. Action figures and toys also are on sale.
Steven Jablonsky, who wrote the music score for the movies “Transformers,” “The Island” and others, wrote the Gears soundtrack. The Skywalker Symphonic Orchestra and Chorus performed the music.
