CHARLOTTE – KnowledgePoints Learning Center has named Dr. Lawton Grier its Director of Learning.
Grier brings more than 29 years of experience to the learning center as a former Charlotte-Mecklenburg school system principal and elementary school teacher.
“Lawton is committed to working with parents, teachers, and the students to ensure their success,” says Matt Pomponio, owner of KnowledgePoints Learning Center. “He views KnowledgePoints as an educational resource for the community.”
Originally from Winston-Salem, N.C., Grier received his bachelor’s degree in music education from Winston-Salem State University. Additionally, he holds a master’s degree in education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a doctorate degree in educational administration from Nova Southeastern University.
KnowledgePoints Learning Center serves students in the south and east Mecklenburg County and Union County.
