S.C. Launch is part of the South Carolina Research Authority, a state-funded organization. The investment is the 13th S.C. Launch has made as part of its seed-capital funding efforts for startups.
The 13-month-firm’s technology was developed by a graduate student at Clemson University. The firm has five employees.
SensorTech plans to begin selling its first products in October.
