Monster, a provider of online jobs and careers information, will build a customer service facility in Florence and create some 350 jobs.
Monster will begin online recruiting of employees in the next few weeks.
“Opening the new customer support service center stems from an initiative to bring North American customer support in-house to ensure Monster leads the online recruitment industry in proactive service,” said Art O’Donnell, executive vice president of service for Monster. “Florence is an ideal choice for us because it’s a rapidly developing labor market with the talent we’ll need to bring best-in-class service to our customers.”
Monster will open the center in September at a temporary location, which will be used while a new permanent office is built.
