DocuSys, a provider of medical information services, is moving its headquarters to Atlanta from Alabama and plans to create 300 jobs.

The firm had been based in Mobile, Ala.

DocuSys provides management systems for anesthesia, medication and presurgical care information.

The new jobs will include software engineers, client services, product management and sales.

“Atlanta offers a developing healthcare technology company like DocuSys a sizable pool for finding talented and experienced applicants with the necessary skills we need for each specific position,” said Robert Watson, DocuSys president and chief executive officer.

“The Georgia Department of Economic Development and the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce have been extremely helpful to our company during this transition and, we are pleased to partner with one of the fastest-growing cities in the U.S.," Watson said.
