Cyberlux, a developer of light-emitting-diode lighting products, has landed $2.2 million in additional business from the U.S. Air Force for its portable illumination systems known as BrightEye.

In all, the Air Force is ordering some $8 million in hardware, spares and maintenance supplies from Cyberlux (OTCBB: CYBL) for two different types of systems.

The systems are designed for deployment in the field and can operate in both night vision and conventional light modes.
