beRecruited.com, a free online network that gives high school athletes a connection to college recruiters, has added a feature that will allow users to share their athletic and academic profiles through MySpace, Facebook or personal Web sites too.

beRecruited Player Cards is a widget that easily integrates information, including photos, video and statistics, from beRecruited profiles to share across various digital platforms.

"This widget shares an athlete’s success and scholarship quest with the online world.”

Chicago-based digital Web service firm, Inverted Creative, helped develop the beRecruited Player Cards.

Founded in 2000 by collegiate swimmer Ryan Spoon of Duke University, beRecruited has more than 185,000 total registered users. The company reported record growth for 2007 and cited a 132% increase of registered student-athletes and a 490% increase in unique visitors.
