Three additional members have agreed to serve on the board of directors for The Hamner Institutes for Health.

New members include: Enriqueta C. Bond, president of The Burroughs Wellcome Fund; Robert C. Eubanks, founder and president of Franklin Street Partners; and Garheng Kong, general partner at Intersouth Partners.

“We look forward to collaborating with these new board members in the pursuit of improved public health,” said William Greenlee, president and CEO of The Hamner Institutes for Health Sciences. “The combined education, experience and backgrounds of the board is impressive.”

The board of directors collaborates with Hamner’s board officers to help guide the organization toward successful development of improved chemical risk assessments, as well as new and safer medicines. Existing board directors that will continue their post during 2008 include:
