Life sciences veteran Richard Williams has signed on with INC. Research, Inc. to lead the regulatory services consulting group as vice president and will oversee all global regulatory submissions for the company.
Williams brings deep pharmaceutical and biotechnology expertise from both large pharmaceutical companies, such as Merck & Co., Inc., and Pfizer, Inc., and emerging companies where he he took several products through to worldwide marketing approval.
“Dr. Williams extensive experience in writing and managing successful regulatory submissions in multiple therapeutic areas further enhances our regulatory offerings for our customers,” said Michael Corrado, chief scientific officer at INC. “He has also interacted directly with regulatory agencies in North America, Europe, Japan, and India, and is familiar with those regional requirements."
Upon earning a Masters in pharmaceuticalsScience from the University of Wales, Dr. Williams conducted research at the Wellcome Research Laboratories while completing his doctorate in pharmacology at the University of London. He also earned a doctorate degree from La Salle University. From there, he accepted a faculty appointment at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver before becoming involved in product development and regulatory affairs.
