DataFlux, a provider of data integration and quality solutions, has secured a patent for its management and validation technology.

The covered technology involves the ability to standardize, match and validate data through user-generated rules.

DataFlux Chief Executive Officer Tony Fisher, Chief Technology Officer Scott Gidley and developers Brian Rineer and Brent Jackson shared in the patent.

“DataFlux has long been providing innovative software, such as developing the industry’s first completely integrated data profiling and data quality platform,” Fisher said in a statement. “This patent affirms that we have a unique technology platform that can empower customers to build a single framework to analyze, improve and control the quality of corporate information.”

DatFlux is a subsidiary of SAS, the world’s largest privately held software companmy.
