Arsenal Digital Solutions officially became part of IBM (NYSE: IBM) on Friday.

Big Blue announced in December that it was acquiring Arsenal, which provides on-demand data storage and protection solutions. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Arsenal Digital had raised more than $80 million in venture capital since its launch in 1998.

The Cary-based company is now part of IBM’s Business Continuity and Resiliency Services business unit in IBM Global Technology Services.

IBM operates 150 business continuity and resiliency centers worldwide.
