Cree (Nasdaq: ) is launching a solutions-provider network as part of its program to expand the use of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) for a variety of lighting solutions.
Services including consulting, design, solutions and assembly.
The program builds on efforts such as partnerships Cree has created with Raleigh and other governments to drive LED use in parking garages and other facilities.
“Cree Solutions Providers represent a select group of value-added solutions providers who can help accelerate the time-to-market of high-quality LED lighting systems based on Cree XLampLEDs,” said Bob Pollock, Cree’s senior vice president of sales.
“The rapidly increasing demand for high-performance LED lighting systems presents a huge potential sales opportunity for those who deliver quality fixtures to market quickly. The Cree Solutions Providers program is designed to help our customers address this opportunity,” Pollock added.
Cree has already picked 14 U.S. and international partners.
