With oil prices soaring to nearly $100 a barrel, former CIA Director James Woolsey is making a timely visit to the Triangle on Nov. 15 to talk about energy.
Woolsey, who is now a vice president at international consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton, will be a guest of former N.C. Gov. Jim Hunt and the Institute for Emerging Issues at North Carolina State University.
The talk is a kickoff to promote the Emerging Issues Forum on Feb. 11-12 at NCSU. Its focus is economic development and opportunities in energy development.
Woolsey and Hunt will speak at the Hilton Hotel in RTP on Thursday. The program begins at 7 a.m.
