RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – Victoria Haynes, president and chief executive officer of RTI International, is the newest member of the board at Archer Daniels Midland Company.
The board of the international giant contains eight members.
Haynes has been the top executive at RTI since 1999.
"With experience managing organizations focused on innovation and technology, Victoria brings insight that will make her a valuable contributor to the ADM Board as the company expands its leadership position in agricultural processing and bioenergy," said ADM Board Chairman Patricia Woertz in a statement.
Haynes, who earned a PhD in physical and organic chemistry and a master’s degree in college board teaching at Boston University, sits on three other corporate boards: Nucor, PPG Industries and Ziptronix.
