Lenovo is expanding its product lineup with a new line of workstation PCs.

Called ThinkStation, the PCs contain Quad-Core Intel Xeon and Intel Core 2 Extreme processors. Two models, S10 and D10, are available.

Like it has done with recently launched laptops, Lenovo has removed the IBM logo and branding that had been associated with its machines. Lenovo Chief Executive Officer William Amelio announced recently Lenovo would discontinue use of the IBM name and logo even though it had rights to do so under terms of its acquisition of IBM’s PC division two years ago.

Lenovo is targeting high-end PC users for the new ThinkStations, which will be available in January. S10s will start in price at $1,199, the D10s at $1,739.
