BioDelivery Sciences is moving its headquarters to Raleigh from Morrisville.
The company is relocating to an office suite covering some 5,500 square feet. BDSI’s other facilities, including an accounting officer in Florida and its laboratory in New Jersey, will remain where they are.
BDSI recently submitted additional information to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for its lead drug BEMA Fentanyl. If the treatment for breakthrough cancer pain is approved, BDSI will hire additional people, the company said.
“The move to a new corporate headquarters will provide us with the necessary space to accommodate the additional employees that we have hired to manage the activities associated with follow up to the BEMA Fentanyl NDA submission and the future hires we are anticipating in 2008 and beyond necessary for managing the needs around the progression of other products in our pipeline,” BDSI’s chief executive officer, said in a statement.
The new location for the headquarters is 801 Corporate Center Drive, Suite 210
