Embarq will completely shift its high-speed Internet customers away from EarthLink as of October 31, the company said Monday.
As part of the transition, Embarq users must change their e-mail addresses to embarqmail.com to replace earthlink.net.

Embarq did not review a contract with EarthLink that allowed EarthLink to provide service to Embarq customers.
