ScanSource, an international distributor of communication products and services, is combining two of its sales units into one operation, the company said Friday.
T2 Supply and Paracon are being merged to form ScanSource Communications. The combined entity will offer T2’s video conferencing and telephony products and Paracon’s communications product and services suite.
“We are excited to bring together our teams, who not only have a great synergy and are extremely talented and laser-focused on growing our customers’ businesses but also have fun doing it,” said Jill Phillips, president of ScanSource Communications. She was the president of T2 Supply.
“With our increased bandwidth and strengthened sales and business development teams, resellers will see a level of unmatched service and support," she added. "We are looking forward to a seamless transition with great opportunities for our customers.”
Clay Sorenson, who had been president of Paracon, is now the vice president of strategic development for ScanSource.
