PricewaterhouseCoopers is bringing back its quarter “Shaking the Money Tree” event on November 15.
The quarterly breakfast where VCs and entrepreneurs gather to discuss the latest trends in venture financing was canceled in the second quarter due to a snafu with statistics.
Over the weekend, PWC, the National Venture Capital Association and Thomson Financial released the latest quarterly statistics. Now that Thomson has rectified the statistic problem, a local PWC spokesperson said the Money tree event could resume.
As they have done for several years, PWC will present a panel discussion at its usual venue (Embassy Suites hotel in Cary), starting bright and early at 7:15 a.m.
If you are involved with a startup, the PWC venue is a great one at which you can get “face time” with numerous VCs as well as “angel” investors who often attend.
Panelists include Scott Weiner of Pappas Ventures and Mike Cromwell of WWC Capital Group.
Entrepreneurs at emerging technology companies and VCs are welcome to attend. If you are interested, e-mail Laura Troy (laura.troy@us.pwc.com) of PWC.
