David Provost, a former executive with PPD, has joined INC Research as vice president for its Late Phase Services team.
Both INC and PPD are contract research organizations, providing a variety of series for life sciences companies.
Provost was senior executive director in post approval strategic operations for PPD.
INC recently announced plans to nearly triple the size of its Raleigh-based workforce with more than 1,000 new hires.
In his new position, Provost will direct work with clients for Phase IV clinical trials.
“Due to increased regulatory scrutiny, the number of Phase IV studies will continue to increase,” said Alistair Macdonald, senior vice president of Global Data Services for INC. “David’s focused background in critical late phase areas is a perfect match for us as we continually strive to enhance the high standard of Late Phase Services that we deliver to our customers.”
Provost earned a degree in psychology from Johns Hopkins University.
