i2Telecom, a provider of voice over Internet protocol products to enable portable access to communications, is expanding its management team with a chief strategic officer.
Mark Hewitt, a communications and networking veteran with 26 years of experience in the fields, assumes the post. He has worked previously in his career for Motorola, Frontier Communications and I-Link as well as other companies.
“i2Telecom’s leadership in advanced platform and applications for the broadband segment will establish the company as a clear market leader as the world market moves closer to convergence and open network services,” Hewitt said in a statement.
