Clayton Tolley, president and chief executive officer of Addison Whitney, will deliver the keynote address at the sixth annual Charlotte Biotechnology Conference on October 12.
The all-day event takes place at the UNC Charlotte campus.
Addison Whitney, which is based in Charlotte, provides branding and marketing services for some of the world’s top life science companies. Tolley will discuss about turning products and devices into successful consumer brands.
The program also will include panel discussions the growth of the life science and biotech business in Charlotte, including the $1.5 billion North Carolina research Campus being built in nearby Kannapolis by billionaire David Murdock.
One panel also will discuss the rapid growth of UNC Charlotte’s efforts in biomedical engineering, medical devices, translational research, cancer and orthopedics.
