Mark Buffum, an executive with Tompkins Associates since 2000, is the new chief operating officer for the company.
Tompkins Associates provides supply chain and integration solutions.
Before joining the Raleigh-based firm, Buffum worked at IBM Federal Systems and Lockheed Martin Distribution Technologies. Buffum also is a member of the Tompkins Associates board.
