Michael Moody, a member of the board at Force Protection, has joined the high-tech vehicle manufacturer’s management team as its president.

Moody, who has more than 40 years of corporate experience, was named to the position as of September 18. His appointment was disclosed Monday. His most recent position was as a principal for Westsource Financial Services.

Also on Monday, Force Protection (Nasdaq: FRPT) disclosed that John Day, a veteran finance executive, had been added to the board of directors. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned a degree in economics.

Force Protection designs and builds specially designed armored vehicles designed to withstand explosive devices.
