CHARLOTTE – More than 40 speakers have already committed to speak at the sixth annual Charlotte Biotechnology Conference.
The event is set for Oct. 12 at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
UNC Charlotte, the Charlotte Research Institute and the North Carolina research Campus are co-sponsoring the conference.
"There is so much activity happening within Charlotte’s biotechnology community that we felt it was critical to organize a single event that would feature not only the world-class research being conducted at the UNC Charlotte and the NC Research Campus, but to also present a forum by which local service providers, manufacturers, financiers and students can network and seize new professional opportunities," said Robert Wilhelm, the executive director of the Charlotte Research Institute.
