John Ferrell, southeast region senior vice president and general manager for Verizon, retired on Aug. 31.
Ferrell’s area of responsibility including the Durham, N.C. service area and North Carolina.
Replacing him will be Suri Surinder, Verizon’s senior vice president for process assurance and operations support for regional operations. The group supports Verizon’s wireline operations in 27 states and Washington, D.C.
