The law firm of Helms Mulliss & Wicker has opened what it calls an “E Discovery” facility that is designed to enable electronic document reviews.
The 3,700 square foot facility includes work stations with dual monitors and can accommodate more than 40 workers.
“We have developed a very high-end practice niche in this area,” said Bill Mayberry, a member of the firm’s litigation practice. “Our group has the expertise and resources to respond to client needs quickly and efficiently.”
The facility reflects the “electronic communication and document storage boom,” Mayberry added.
Members of the E-Discovery group also work with clients on data storage and retrieval.
“The E-Discovery attorneys devote countless hours working with clients to improving risk management, produce accurate discovery results, and increasing the cost-effectiveness of handling electronic records,” said Jill Griset, lead counsel for the E-Discovery group. “The new facility will allow for this crucial first step in the litigation process to run smoothly in an environment and with equipment that is conducive to the workload and tasks required.”
The law firm has offices in Charlotte, Raleigh and Wilmington.
