The Southeast Venture Conference is moving to Tysons Corner, Va. from the Triangle for its next event.

The SEVC will be February 27-28 at the Ritz Carlton in Tysons Corner. The first event took place in Cary earlier this year.

An estimated 40 companies will be selected to make presentations to potential investors. The program also will include a variety of guest speakers.

Jason Caplain, a venture capitalist at Southern Capitol Ventures, is the chairman of the event.

"The Southeast Venture Conference showcases leading entrepreneurs from throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions," Caplain said in a statement. "With regional and national venture capital groups attending along with entrepreneurs, this will be an outstanding conference."
