Eli Research, a publisher of more than 120 products ranging from print to audio learning, has secured $10 million in expansion capital.
BIA Digital Partners, a private investment firm based in Chantilly, Va., made the investment. Scott Chappell, a principal at BIA, will join the Eli Research board of directors as an observer as part of the deal. BIA has more than $250 million under management.
Eli Research, which was founded in 1992, offers print, online, teleconference and audio products with a primary focus on the healthcare industry. It also has law and litigation plus financial service products.
The company has offices in Florida, Massachusetts, New York and Utah.
"Eli Research has diversified from its roots as a print, newsletter publisher and now offers an array of products to our valued customers,” said Greg Lindberg, the president and founder of Eli Research. "BIA Digital Partner’s capital provides the funding necessary to finance our growth initiatives and strategic goals. BIA has experience in healthcare information, which helped them understand our business very quickly.”
