Lenovo is expanding its reach into U.S. markets for laptops through a broader relationship with D&H Distributing.

D&H, which is based in Pennsylvania, is one of the largest personal computer and laptop distributors in the U.S.

Lenovo has made growth of sales in the U.S. small business and consumer markets a major part of its growth strategy. Lenovo began working with D&H one year ago.

Under the new agreement, D&H will offer ThinkPad laptops. Previously D&H offered Lenovo 3000 notebooks and desktops to small and medium businesses.

D&H is selling more than $1 million of Lenovo hardware per month and has added more than 1,000 value-added resellers (VARs) for Lenovo machines.

“Our relationship with D&H Distributing has helped us effectively reach a large number of VARs and end users in the SMB space, a transactional market that we are aggressively pursuing,” said Stephen Mungall, vice president of Americas Channels for Lenovo. “Expanding the portfolio of offerings with the ThinkPad brand of top seller products gives customers even more choice and another opportunity to do business with Lenovo.”

D&H distributes goods from six locations in the U.S. and Canada.
