Edward Iacobucci, who has launched a “on demand” jet passenger service, and Najmi Jarwala, president of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications, will be guest speakers at Tech 2007.

The two-day technology show, which is put on by the Council for Entrepreneurial Development, is set for Oct. 10-11. It will take place at the Friday Center in Chapel Hill.

Iacobucci, a former Ernst & Young International Entrepreneur of the Year, is chief executive officer of DayJet Corporation. He also is a founder and former chairman of Citrix Systems. Iacobucci launched his career as a software executive at IBM.

Jarwala leads the joint effort of Sony Ericsson, which has a major presence in RTP. He is the senior executive for the North American region. Jarwala has worked more than 15 years in telecommunications.

“We are fortunate this year to have Edward Iacobucci and Najmi Jarwala share their wealth of knowledge and experience at Tech 2007,” said CED President Monica Doss. “Tech offers attendees an unparalleled opportunity to learn about the latest trends in high technology from global thought leaders.”

The program will include panel discussions and presentations of companies developing and producing the latest in technology.

Chairs for the program are Mark Larson, a partner with Grant Thornton, and Mike Saber, a partner at law firm Smith Anderson Blount Dorsett Mitchell & Jernigan.
