Robert Egleston, a former executive with Lowe’s, was named chief executive officer of DataMax on Tuesday.

Egleston most recently directed the Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation and also was president of the Lowe’s Employee Relief Fund. Earlier at Lowe’s, he directed community relations.

Before joining Lowe’s, Egleston worked 18 years at RJR Tobacco. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech University and holder of a Master’s degree in business administration from Appalachian State.
