RTI International is adding an executive to oversee internal auditing.
Franklin Gram, who has worked for Dixon Hughes, Deloitte, Standard Chartered Bank, and Prudential Insurance Company of America, will oversee development of what RTI called “a risk-based internal audit strategy and supporting risk management.” He also will assess efficiency of operations and systems as well as compliance with laws and regulations.
"Frank will be an excellent addition to our team," said Scott Merrell, the chief legal officer and corporate secretary for RTI. "His knowledge and experience in risk assessment and development of internal controls will be valuable to RTI as we continue to improve our systems and procedures to meet the needs of our growing global business. Given his extensive experience with the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley and the ever increasing amount of financial reporting scrutiny nonprofits face, he joins us at a very opportune time."
Gram is a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in finance.
