The Piedmont Triad Entrepreneurial Network (PTEN) can now administer the FastTrac training program for entrepreneurs on its own.

PTEN recently received certification to offer the program independently. It has worked in partnership with the Council for Entrepreneurial Development on FastTrac since 2002.

FastTrac offers workshops and programs designed to help entrepreneurs build successful businesses from raising capital to managing a business.

“Not all entrepreneurs have started and run companies previously, so they are hungry for the kind of training and mentoring that FastTrac offers,” said PTEN Chief Executive Officer Jon Obermeyer. “In our work to help entrepreneurs commercialize their products, we knew this program would provide the educational component we needed to help business owners improve their chances for success.”

FastTrac was developed by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation in Kansas City.
