clearTXT, a provider of technology for delivery of information and alerts across a variety of platforms, is offering colleges and universities its basic product at no charge.
The Ubiquity Basic Edition will be available free of cost through Dec. 31. clearTXT has made a similar offering in the past.
“We believe that every school should have a system to send information and alerts to mobile phones, e-mail, and desktops quickly and reliably,” said Doug Kaufman, clearTXT’s chief executive officer. “Because this is such an important cause, we eliminated all the barriers, including price, and made it as simple and easy for any school to sign up and use the system.”
clearTXT offers the platform, which is Web based, as a hosted solution.
