Chris Kroeger and Grant Jackson, to venture capitalists at The Aurora Funds, have been promoted to partner.

“We are pleased and excited to welcome Chris and Grant as new partners at Aurora”, stated Jeff Clark, managing general partner of The Aurora Funds. “Both have shown strong growth in their abilities as Venture Capitalists and we expect great things from them in the future.”

Kroeger, an MD, joined Aurora in 2003 as an associated and was promoted to principal in 2005. He focuses on Aurora’s life science investments and serves on the boards of directors at four firms. He received his medical degree from the Sanford University School of Medicine, He also received an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Jackson focuses on healthcare services and healthcare information technology investments. He joined Aurora as a senior associate in 2004 and was promoted to principal in 2005.

He received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
