InRoomMD, a provider of healthcare services for travelers on a concierge basis, is launching a partner program to help promote and sell its services.

The Charlotte-based startup plans to partner with travel planners, agents and services aggregators who can earn commissions for direct or Web-based referrals.

InRoomMD offerings included 24-hour in-room physician visits, prescription replacements, specialist referrals and expedited access to emergency care both direct to consumers by subscription and as a benefit to groups insured by traditional or travel healthcare policies.

“Travelers and travel purchasers welcome an alternative to the traditional scenarios of illness in a strange city,” said InRoomMD President Andrew Jacobson. “When travel customers buy a Travel Healthcare Concierge subscription, they gain peace of mind, and their travel provider gains an incremental commission plus a reputation for giving good advice.”
