Merscom, a developer of so-called “casual” video games, has signed a digital distribution deal with Yummy Interactive.
Through Yummy, Merscom titles can be offered by broadband and telecommunications providers on a subscription bases or as rentals or for purchase after a consumer has played it.
Merscom will offer three titles initially: D.N.A., Buku Brain Blast and Ball 7.
Yummy works with companies such Digital River, StarHub Cablevision Communications and Hellenic Telecommunications.
“Yummy is a great partner for us,” said Lloyd Melnick, chief customer officer for Merscom. “Its extensive list of distribution partners and different delivery mechanisms will give our customers even more choice on how, when and where they access our games.”
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Yummy operates across the Americas, Europe and Asia.
