Rick Clancy, a manufacturing industry veteran, is the new director of manufacturing engineering at Jacket Micro Devices, a developer of advanced chip technology fur use in wireless devices,

“We will be ramping up a new line of fully integrated [wireless local area network] and WiMax front end modules to full production by the end of this year,” said JMD Chief Executive Officer Jim Stratigos. “Rick’s experience with manufacturing engineering and the transfer and monitoring of manufacturing processes to the supply chain will be invaluable as we complete this and many more initiatives to come.”

Clancy’s most recent position was manufacturing engineering manager of packaging and assembly at Conexant Systems. He also has worked at Ford and Honeywell.
