Virtual Heroes and Camber Corp. have formed an alliance that will seek large government contracts for training and other services.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Camber is based in Alabama and provides a variety of services for government as well as for commercial clients.
Virtual Heroes focuses on advanced learning technology, such as 3D simulations.
“Virtual Heroes has definitely established a leadership position in the advanced-learning industry, with its successful track record in the federal systems arena and innovations such as HumanSim in the health-care arena and their state-of-the-art Advanced Learning Technology platform,” said Walter Batson, chief executive officer of Camber. “We selected Virtual Heroes to enhance and strengthen our team’s ability to further the delivery of PC-based simulations and other advanced-learning solutions for our clients.”
Camber provides services and solutions for engineering, training, information technology, modeling and simulation, decision support and homeland security. Among its featured offerings is a weather radar simulation program.

Camber has 26 offices across the U.S. and more than 1,400 employees.
