Garheng Kong, a venture capitalist with Intersouth partners, will deliver a speech to the North Carolina China Business Association on April 10.
The speech, which is the latest in the “Marquee Speakers Series” put on by the group, will take place at the Radisson Hotel in RTP.
“The NC Chinese business community and our friends are thrilled to have Garheng share his vast knowledge on the state of biotech and venture capitalism,” said YanChing Zhang, president of NCCBA and client executive with IBM Healthcare and Life Sciences. “He is viewed as a role model within the Chinese community.”
Kong, a holder of multiple degrees as well as an MBA from Duke University, focuses on biotech and medical device investments for Intersouth. He sits on six boards of directors and also is interim chief executive officer at two of Intersouth’s portfolio firms.
