CARY, N.C. – Cetero Research, a contract research organization, is launching a new suite of services focused on cardiac safety trials.

The CorWatch program reflects Cetero’s move to place more emphasis on conducting cardiac safety assessments. It combines data management, study design consultation, program development and incorporates relationships with electrocardiography laboratories.

Cetero has been involved in more than 20 trials involving over 2,000 participants over the past two years.

“Cetero is focusing on cardiac safety assessments based on how crucial they are to our clients. We have formed strategic partnerships with core ECG laboratories and equipped our facilities with state-of-the-art equipment and experienced staff,” said John Capicchioni, Cetero Research’s vice president of business development. “We truly consider CorWatch to be the leading suite of services for cardiac safety assessments.”

Cetero was formed through the merger of three firms (Pracs Institute Ltd., Gateway Medical Research, B.A. Research International). The company was originally known as Contract Research Solutions.
