DURHAM, N.C. – Inspire Pharmaceuticals has promoted three veteran executives to new roles.
Benjamin Yerxa is now Inspire’s chief scientific officer and executive vice president for strategic operations. His previous title was chief of strategic operations and alliances.
Joseph Schachle, meanwhile, is now executive vice president and chief for commercial operations. He had been senior vice president for marketing and sales.
And Gerald St. Peter is now senior vice president for sales and field operations. He had been vice president of sales.
“Ben, Joe and Jerry have all contributed significantly to Inspire’s success in securing new and important partnerships and effectively building and leading our commercial efforts,” said Chief Executive Officer Christy Shaffer.
Yerxa has been with Inspire since 1995, starting with the company as senior research chemist. Schachle joined Inspire in 2001. St. Peter came to Inspire in 2003.
